tHe cause

Imagine living in a place where a preventable infection can cost you your life. Where there is limited access to emergency surgeries, dental providers, and resources to relieve a child’s pain, restore someone’s ability to eat, or stop a life-threatening abscess from spreading. This is the reality in rural Tanzania, where thousands suffer daily from treatable dental and medical conditions.

The Dental Legacy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was founded to change that. We provide life-saving dental procedures, hygiene education, oral surgery, and general medical support in communities with little access to care. Our teams deliver direct services at the local clinics, train and equip local providers, build sustainable infrastructure, and work alongside St. Gaspar Hospital to expand our collective outreach and improve community wellbeing.
